The first thing we’ll do is deploy WordPress. If you already have hosting and a domain name we’ll login to your hosting account to setup WordPress on your server. If you don’t have hosting we can set up the website on our server and register a new domain for you.
Once WordPress has been deployed we’ll install a theme as well as all the necasary plugins we’ll need for the website build.
We’ll then get to work creating the first draft of your website. We’ll consult with you regarding colours, fonts and branding. During this time we may put up a development screen if we are working on a live site.
When the first draft is ready we’ll arange a time to do a ‘walkthrough’. The purpose of the walkthrough is demonstrate how the website functions, as well as our design choises.
You’ll then have an opprtunity to review the first draft. We’ll send you a revisions form for you to enter the changes you want to be made to the website. You should go through every page and make detailed notes on each. You should input all of your revisions into the revisions form, this means we can go through your revisions in a clear and structured way.
Please be as specific as possible, it is difficult for us to interpret vague revisions like “make it brighter”, “I don’t like the font” etc. Be specific by telling us which elements are too dark, or what font you would like by name e.g. “Ariel”.
We work to a tight deadlines so we ask that you submit your revisons within 24 hours of us sending you ther revisions form. Delays impact on scheduling and our ability to deliver projects on time. We may move on directly to the final stage of the process if you don’t let us know your changes in time.
We will then action your revisions and keep you updated whilst we do this. We will then take you on another walkthrough, this time demonstrating where changes have been made.
When we have actioned your revisons from round 1 you will have another opportunity to do a complete review of your website. It is important at this stage to make sure everything is functioning in the way you expect. You can let us know about any final chnages you want to be made through the round 2 revisions form we will send you.
Again it is important that you complete the form within 24 hours so the build can remain on schedule.
Once we have recieved your final revisions we will action them and get your site ready to be put live to the public.
Further Revisions Rounds:
If you would like further revisions rounds before the site goes live, we can send you a quote and revise the deadline to factor this into our schedule.
This is the exciting bit! We will issue any outstanding invoices and we will make your website live to the public…
